The Aerosmith® 304 Stainless steel sleeve anchor is a preassembled expansion anchor that can be used in a variety of base materials which include normal weight concrete, brick, and grout filled block. This anchor is available in both 3/8 and ½ diameters and comes with either an acorn nut or finished hex nut. Great for both internal and external applications where corrosion may be of concern. Simply drill the same size hole as the anchor diameter using a carbide drill bit and tap the anchor through your fixture and tighten to the required torque value. As you tighten the nut, the bolt pulls though the sleeve creating expansion.

The Sure-Bolt® Extreme is an excellent choice for both internal and external applications due to its multiple coating protection. First a layer of zinc is applied to the part, plus two layers of epoxy organic coating to follow. The coating will exceed 700 hours of salt spray before any red rust appears and is suitable for external environments with a service life that exceeds 25 years, making it an excellent choice for external applications. The coating is also resistant to Acids and Alkalis.
